We are pleased to announce that the 62nd Annual Congress of the Japan Society for Neonatal Health and Development (JSNHD) will be held from October 12 (Thu.) – 14(Sat.), 2017 at the Sonic City, Saitama Japan. This congress will be organized in conjunction with the 27th Annual meeting of Japan Academy of Neonatal Nursing (JANN) from October 13th to 14th, 2017 at the same site.
This society has the longest history among branching medical committees of the Japan Pediatric Organization. We feel very happy to hold this congress for third time by same department with honorable past presidents, Prof, Yu Ogawa and Prof. Masanori Tamura.
We have chosen the theme "Let’s aim towards nurturing the innocent life with family beyond the perinatal medicine" with the subtitle of “Cuddle up to mother, their family’s bondage and baby’s growth”. The ultimate Goal of perinatal medicine for all babies entered in NICU is “living a happy life with their family”. We hope there will be hot discussions and debates for innovations in neonatal-perinatal care.
We will invite Dr. Tsuguya Fukui, the President of St.Luka’s Hospital, as a distinguished guest, who is the learned authority of the professionalism. We also invite another distinguished guest, Professor Michael Cotten from Duke University USA as a pioneer of autologous cord blood stem cell transfusion for HIE patient.
The congress will include special lectures by representatives from both Korean and Taiwan Neonatal Societies.
Saitama prefecture is to the north of Tokyo. It is famous for its sightseeing ancient historic Japanese buildings present in Kawagoe city, which is 30 minutes by train from the congress site.
